Drive-by post... does anyone know if this little fella is a cricket? Makes a cricket sound - high pitched sustained chirp - but I can't find anything that looks quite like him under that name. Found him in our house at the weekend & photographed him as a (silent) curiosity, only to be woken last night by a seriously loud call in the wee small hours. Any guidance on topic or where to find out gratefully received. He doesn't look quite right for the stuff I'm pulling up, and I don't know enough about Nature Stuff to refine properly.

Recording of him/her/it singing up on the dreaded Fleabook: at
shot from above/front - 45 seconds, crap focal length, hand-held camera, but you can clearly see wing motion etc at a few points.
Also
this one - 15 seconds, shot from side
